Denise completed her Bachelor of Science degree in 1985 and the Masters of Public Health in 2005.

Denise worked in the medical publishing field in Hong Kong for many years, as a journals editor, a medical writer for medical newspapers, and in the medical communications field. She has also project managed and written for large communications projects for pharmaceutical companies and health bodies such as the Australian National Heart Foundation.

Denise joined the CARI Guidelines in November 2002 and in this role, is assisting with the revision and publication of existing CARI guidelines and assisting with the development of new guidelines on various topics.
