Edwina graduated with an Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Nursing) from The University of Technology in 1989 and after general experience, developed an interest in renal care. She completed a Graduate diploma in Nephrology Nursing and then a Master of Nursing (by Coursework) through UTS in 1997. This led to a role as project co-ordinator for the Renal Case Mix project for the Department of Health in 1998. Edwina has worked in many roles such as unit management, consultancy and education across all areas of the renal spectrum, the most recent and challenging as the Renal Case Manger for Central Sydney Area Health Service

Edwina joined CKR in 2008 as data manager on the FEVER study after a 6 year absence from employment raising her 3 boys. She is looking forward to further involvement in future research projects at CKR.
