Martin joined the CARI guidelines office in 2008 to work on the preparation of the NHMRC evidence based guidelines “Diagnosis, Prevention and Management of Chronic Kidney Disease in Type 2 Diabetes”. Martin was awarded a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hon) in 1980, a PhD in 1986 and a Masters of Public Health in 2009. He has worked in the environmental science field for over 20 years before commencing work at the Centre for Kidney Research. Martin’s on going role at CARI involves assisting in all aspects of the development and revision of clinical best practice guidelines.
