After completing her Bachelor of Nursing at Avondale College, Rachael spent two and a half years working as a Registered Nurse at The Mater Hospital, North Sydney. Rachael first joined The Children’s Hospital, Westmead in September 2004 working in theatres in the area of Recovery and Anaesthetics. During this time she completed postgraduate studies in International Health at Curtin University and had the opportunity to spend some time volunteering overseas. Rachael began working at CKR in December 2008 as a Research Officer with the ARDAC Kidney Health Study. She is also continuing her postgraduate studies undertaking a Master of Public Health at The University of NSW.
