Sana graduated from the Cumberland College of Health Sciences in 1991 with a Bachalor of Applied Sciences in Nursing. Although she worked in various fields of nursing at the Prince of Wales Hospital at Randwick, she concentrated on Accident and Emergency and took those skills with her to work in the United Kingdom for 2 1/2 years. In 1999 she graduated with a Masters in Public Health and started with the Centre for Kidney Research in the year 2000. The position involved coordinating the PRIVENT trial full-time, which she did for 31/2 years before going on maternity leave for the first time. After a year off with her gorgeous baby boy, she returned to a part-time postion on the FEVER trial. It was not long before she was on maternity leave again and after a year off with her divine baby girl, she returned to her part-time position. This is where she plans to stay for a while!
